Posture assessments and tips on avoiding postural problems and Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSIs)

Repetitive strain injuries and aches and pains from poor posture may seem insignificant but with daily aggravation they can become chronic and may in some cases require surgery and consequently long periods off work. To avoid this happening in your workplace, I suggest a combination of treatment and preventative measures.

How it Works

Posture assessment: I come into your place of work and assess the posture of your staff as they do their day-to-day work and then give tips to avoid the development of postural problems and Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI).

Presentation: If it’s not feasible to do individual assessments, I can give a presentation to everyone on good posture, identifying common postural problems and how to solve them and outline best practice for avoiding RSI.

What is Repetitive Strain Injury?

A repetitive strain injury (RSI) is an injury to the musculoskeletal and nervous systems that may be caused by repetitive tasks, forceful exertions, vibrations, mechanical compression, or sustained or awkward positions.
